Each house, built in the 1990’s is carefully constructed for privacy and making full use of local materials, built of mellow local stone and slate, the house makes good use of organic materials – even the roof insulation is in natural cork.

We have three modern houses, two large, Silver Birch and Linden and one small, Holly. 

All three are masterworks of Nelson Cravo-Cacoilo a famous architect, designed to blend perfectly with the glorious landscape of trees, meadows, and water. Modern Irish in design, they are built of mellow local stone and slate, and make full use of organic materials – even the roof insulation is in natural cork.

Each has floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living rooms to allow immersion into the beauty of the bay and the rainforest. Furnished with mid-century vintage and local Ballydehob wooden furniture they provide a clean-lined welcoming space with warm wooden furniture.

We also have two adorable traditional Irish cottages, Maple and Aspen, nestled in the woods, each with their own open space for outdoor relaxation. They are full of atmosphere and furnished with local furniture.
